How do I remove my old wax melt from my burner? Please remember the wax will not disappear but just lose its scent. To change your used wax, you can pop a tea light in your burner for about 30 seconds- 1 minute. This will melt the bottom of the wax slightly and allow you to slide the wax disc out completely. You can then use a tissue to clean out the excess wax in the dish. Now you can add your fresh wax melt! Another alternative is to use cotton pads or tissue paper to 'soak up' the wax if you want to remove once it's already melted. However this is slighter messier so we suggest using the recommendation above!

How to use our wax meltsHere are some tips we recommend to get the best out of our melts! 1. Ensure your burner is free from any damage/cracks/ water residue before usage. Place 1-2 pieces of your wax melt into the dish of the burner. 2. We recommend only using a 4 hour tea light. If you use a larger tea light e.g. (6 hour or more) these give off more heat than a standard 4 hour tealight. This means the tea light will burn off the fragrance oil much quicker then using a 4 hour tea light. This means your wax melts will burn far too quickly and you just won't get the best results from them. It also risks your burner getting extra hot and damaging. 3. Use a good quality burner! Ensure the distance between the tealight flame and the top of the burner needs to be at least 10cm. Any less than that, and the wax will get too hot and burn the fragrance off far too quickly. 4. The wax will not disappear like candles, but instead, will lose it’s scent. Always remove the old wax from the burner before using a new one. 5. Never leave a candle unattended. 6. Keep away from draughts, windows, pets & children. 7. Always place the burner on a heat proof surface. 8. Never overfill the burner or move the burner when lit. 9. Never pour wax down the plug hole. 10. Never add water to your burner. 11. Please store your melts in a cool dry place away from warm/hot areas when not in use to ensure they keep their scent. 12. Please DO NOT EAT— Wax melts are not food!
